Feeding & Nutrition

Just like us, pets thrive on proper nutrition. The right food keeps their body strong, coat shiny, and energy up. Their needs shift as they grow - so feeding them right means feeding them according to their life stage.

Puppies (0-12 months)

• Choose high-calorie puppy food with DHA
• Feed 3 to 4 meals daily
• Small breeds need more frequent meals

Adults (1-7 years)

• Balanced food with protein and healthy fat
• Feed 2x per day
• Watch for weight gain or allergies

Seniors (7+ years)

• Use food designed for seniors (easy to digest, joint support)
• Wet food helps if teeth are sensitive
• Keep calories in check

Kittens (0-12 months)

• Kitten food with taurine and calcium
• 4 small meals per day
• Clean bowl = happy kitty

Adults (1-10 years)

• High-protein food (dry or wet)
• 2 meals a day or free feeding (watch portions)
• Keep fresh water nearby

Seniors (10+ years)

• Food for kidney and joint health
• Wet food for hydration
• Monitor weight and energy

• Dry Kibble: Easy, shelf-stable, helps teeth
• Wet Food: Yummy, hydrating, gentle on stomachs
• Raw Diet: Only with vet guidance
• Homemade: Must be balanced and vet-approved

• Measure portions based on food labels
• Always provide clean, fresh water
• Don't overfeed - healthy weight is best
• Treats = okay, but not too many!

• Chocolate
• Grapes & raisins
• Onions & garlic
• Cooked bones or fatty scraps
• Caffeine, alcohol, or dairy (in most cases)
